heart shaped cornrows

Just did courtney's hair in some cornrows in the shape of a heart thanks to the ladies over on the beads braids & beyond page on FB! i think i did a pretty good job for a first timer?!

Detangling and conditioning

It was a hassle doing her hair at first but thanks to these pages on FB and YouTube videos I know what I'm doing! I now see that washing her hair isn't enough she needs more especially for her hair type and texture!

natural and banding!

my 6 year old is natural and i've banded her hair for the first time today and i must say it's an easy process to do! i love the fact that there's no heat or pulling(which really makes it hard to do her hair at time) her hair is so long yet so frizzy dry and tightly coiled. i'm so glad i've come across certain pages to help me with doing her hair because i swear i was in the mist of giving up! lol and she loves it she thinks it's a hair style to wear for a while =]
